I stopped at the Aldi in my neighborhood and noticed a quarter sitting on the window ledge near the grocery carts. Someone had left it there for the next person who needed a cart.

I used it, did my shopping, and put the quarter back in the same spot. It was such a small gesture, but it made me smile.

To whoever left it there, thank you. And thank you to everyone who does little things like this without expecting recognition. It was a welcome reminder that there are still good people out there. Sometimes all it takes is a quarter to pass that feeling along.
